A growing asset management company requires the following staff :


FUND MARKETING MANAGER


Responsibilities Include :

1. Coordinate new product launches either in mutual funds or discretionary funds. Support selected events (manage booth at conferences, coordinate materials, sales premiums).
2. Market mutual fund products through banks or institutions of individuals.
3. Develop relationships with key institution clients and high network individuals to generate captive funds or company.
4. Initiates, creates and implements client retention tools in the form of ad hoc product analysis, sales ideas and fund positioning stories for the retail wholesale teams.
5. Manage a marketing team and ensure well coordination with all related parties, including selling agent and custodian bank.
6. Prepares for presentations to current and potential clients .
7. Illustrates proper fund information inclusive of portfolio characteristics, performance, etc. within the context of the market environment, competitive landscape, industry trends, regulation changes, etc.


Experience / Qualification / Key Skills / Attributes :

1. 3 years or more marketing experience in the mutual fund, insurance and banking products with a wide client base.
2. Owning licenses from Bapepam-LK and a bachelor degree.
3. Well developed product management, inter-personal and marketing skills. Ability to manage and organize a team of marketing force, and foster teamwork.
4. A broad understanding of the mutual funds industry and a well developed understanding of investment products and capital markets
Self-motivated and enthusiastic, able to meet targets in respect of day-to-day work flows and new projects.
5. Proficiency in computer applications, for both managerial reporting and marketing presentation
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English would be an advantage.
