PT Geographe Energy Indonesia is leading independent valve Management Company for the Asia Pacific region, providing comprehensive range of special services to the Oil & Gas and also Mining Company. “Total Valve & Flange Management” services cover supply, warehousing, inventory management, repair and testing both off site and on site. Due to expanding our project in Asia Pacific, especially in Indonesia, we are currently in need for qualified personnel for the following position:

VALVE TECHNICIAN

Specific Qualifications:

• Mechanical trade qualification with strong experience and problem solving especially in valve maintenance, testing and control (Diploma degree in Mechanical would be an advantage)
• Having experience and knowledge in welding process and on site / workshop machining
• 5 years experience in valve and have experience in many projects in oil and gas industry or EPC Company.
• Familiar with computer software MS Office

Responsibilities:

• Produce clear and detailed reports for submission to customers.
• Carry out site work requirements in a proficient and professional manner.
• To have a sound understanding of the Hydrostatic and Pneumatic testing requirements and procedures of various valve types and pressures.
• To develop a sound mechanical understanding of various valve, actuator and gearbox types include its problem solving.
• A strong understanding of how critical thorough documentation, trace-ability and certification are to all overhauls / repairs, testing and modifications carried out.
• Assist with new valve receipt inspection to ensure valve supply accuracy.
• To demonstrate a high level of machining ability and understanding of the drawings to ensure that jobs are completed correctly the first time and are dimensionally correct
